Make a Dental Plan for 2018.

Among your New Year’s Resolutions should be a dental plan.  It just makes sense.  Don’t you want to outlive your teeth?  Back in a day we just let the local dentist pull a tooth instead of saving it because life expectancy was much shorter.  These days there are root canals, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, etc.

All of that must be financed, of course and we want to help you preserve your smile for a lifetime.  We invite you to visit our website davidblackmandds.com.  Here, you can read our payment arrangements page as you prepare for the dental work that you wish to have done in the year 2018.

Each individual will be treated exactly that way…as an individual!  No two plans are necessarily the same.  Nearly every insurance plan and major credit card are accepted at the practice of Dr. David Blackman DDS.  We have been proud to serve the Carol Stream area with all dental services for decades and will be here for you in 2018.  Arrange your first New Years’ appointment at our 400 N. Gary Ave. office by calling (630) 260-1700.

The Very Best to You and Yours this Season.

We are gathering together with family and friends this Holiday season and we hope that one of the last things on your mind is the dentist.  This is a time for diving into that holiday bird and all the fixin’s.  What a great time to be with loved ones to celebrate all of the blessings of the year past and look forward to 2018.

Our growing family at Dr. David Blackman DDS will be celebrating with our loved ones as well.  As you look ahead to the New Year we hope that we may be of service to you and yours.  Of course, we will always be here for dental emergencies, but please do not forget routine maintenance.  That is the bi-annual check-up we ALL need!

If you are new to the Carol Stream area or merely seeking a new dentist, we invite you to take a few minutes and visit www.davidblackmandds.com.  You will get to know us and our services much better.  Just know that we will be here in 2018 to serve all of your dental needs.  So…Happy Holidays from our family to yours.

Making Dental Plans for 2018.

Will this be the upcoming year when you take your dental health more seriously?  While we all would rather do something else, visiting the dentist creates a peace of mind that is nearly unduplicated in life.  When you are proud of your smile you go through life with confidence and a belief that you can tackle the world!

We probably do not have to remind you that every credible piece of information indicates that if you visit your dentist twice a year you will save a great deal of time, expense, and even discomfort.  What has your 2017 been like?  Did everyone you care about observe that cardinal rule?

Do the right thing for your smile and confidence level in the new year.  Schedule your first 2018 visit or, better yet, an exam and teeth cleaning before Christmas.  For decades, the right choice for general dental care in Carol Stream and suburban Chicago has been Dr. David Blackman.  Trust the office of Dr. Blackman for all of your dental needs.  Call for an appointment at their 400 N. Gary Ave. office (630) 260-1700.

Prevention is the Key.

Everyone knows if you catch a disease early it is highly more treatable.  Whether it is cancer, heart disease, lung problems, or dental issues the same theory applies.  It just makes sense…catch it early and win the fight!  That final issue is one that we tend to put off thinking a toothache will go away.

That aching tooth is probably an early sign that something is very wrong inside of your mouth.  While that ache will probably go away it will rear its ugly head later as a sign of bigger issues.  One tenant to always remember is that the American Dental Association suggests that you visit your dentist every six months…so does your dental insurance.

During one of these visits that dreaded plaque will be removed through a refreshing, deep cleaning.  Harmless X-rays will show if there are any impending oral diseases that need to be treated before they start growing.  All of this is done by your general Carol Stream dentist Dr. David Blackman and his team.  Call for your next visit at 400 N. Gary Ave. (630) 260-1700.
