Dental Health Begins at an Early Age.

So many of us have said “I wish I had visited the dentist more often when I was a kid so I wouldn’t have all of these problems now”.  It is an old lament and there is no way to turn back the clock now.  However, it is not too late for the youngsters in your life to enjoy a lifetime of great dental health.  Now is the time to get them in for a check-up.

The first step is to stick with a strict regimen of taking your kids to the dentist EVERY 6 months without fail.  They will receive check-ups and routine cleanings which will make for a more painless experience and become a habit for a lifetime - like changing the oil in your car or the furnace filters in your home.  Plus your dentist becomes a friend, not someone that your children see only in a time of pain.

Teach your children good dental habits frequently and make sure they never go to bed without brushing and flossing.  Call your friends at the office of Dr. David Blackman DDS of Carol Stream Il.  If you are looking for the right dentist that you can trust for years to come call Dr. Blackman’s office at (630) 260-1700.  Or stop in at 400 North Gary Avenue in Carol Stream to make an appointment.
